Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberry
  • ½ cup plain Greek yoghurt (non-fat or low-fat)
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or non dairy, such as almond milk)
  • 1 table spoon honey (choice)
  • ½ tea spoon vanilla extract (choice)
  • Ice cubes (as needed)

Preparation

  1. Blend together the strawberries, Greek yoghurt, milk, honey (if using) and vanilla essence.
  2. Blend at high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. If you want your smoothie to be thicker and colder, add ice cubes.
  4. Blend again until the ice is completely mixed.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve it immediately.
